Live demo treating textile dye in real time; highlighted plasma use across industries.

I participated in the Pak Water & Energy Expo at the Karachi Expo Centre, which brought together government officials, industry experts, researchers, and the general public to discuss solutions for water and energy challenges. I showcased a live SolarPlas demonstration, treating textile dye in real time. The visible disappearance of color attracted strong interest and helped visitors easily understand the technology's potential. I also spoke about plasma applications in wastewater treatment across sectors such as hospitals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, food processing, and chemical industries. I highlighted the urgent need to address micropollutants and emerging contaminants, and how plasma can help break down these harmful substances where conventional methods fail. The activity created strong engagement and awareness among both technical and non-technical audiences.
