Talk on micropollutants, plasma vs. conventional methods.

For World Environment Day 2024, I gave a presentation at the Department of Civil Engineering at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology. My audience comprised university students, faculty, NGO representatives, and corporate professionals. I addressed the issue of micropollutants in water and wastewater—covering their sources, environmental persistence, treatment challenges, and eventual fate. I also highlighted the advantages of plasma technology over conventional treatment methods, emphasizing its effectiveness in breaking down persistent contaminants. Lastly, I introduced my SolarPlas project, underscoring its potential as a sustainable solution for emerging contaminants.
